The Citroën 2CV is a French small car model that enjoyed enormous success – around 3.66 million units were produced between 1948 and 1990. This simply and logically designed vehicle was powered by an air-cooled boxer engine at the front and, with its spacious interior, offered room for four people as well as a high level of driving comfort. It was even said that the ride was so smooth that you could transport eggs across a ploughed field without them breaking. Although it was initially referred to by some people, rather unflatteringly, as a ‘tin can’, its practicality and unique style made the Citroën 2 CV a much-loved masterpiece.

This is a 1:24 scale plastic model kit. Length: 156 mm, width: 65 mm. The distinctive design has been stylishly recreated. The hinged window on the driver’s side is reproduced in the open position. The boxer engine and gearbox are realistically depicted. This faithfully reproduced model offers a glimpse into the unique, longitudinally linked suspension system with front wishbones, rear trailing arms and central coil springs. Choose between a closed or rolled-up fabric soft top.
