The TAMIYA DN-01SR is a special tuning version of the popular DN-01 chassis. The basic design of this 2WD buggy is based on a battery pack positioned lengthways within the chassis, with the electronic components arranged alongside it. The gearbox housing, containing the motor, is situated behind the rear axle. This layout, combined with the flat, angled chassis, ensures excellent handling on off-road race tracks. The drivetrain is fully ball-bearing mounted, and the fully enclosed gearbox is fitted with a ball differential. This SR version features a new mounting system for the front rims: these are now secured via hexagonal wheel hubs. This gives the driver a wider choice of rims. This special SR version comes with numerous tuning parts as standard: 54016 DB-01/TRF501X ball-joint drive shafts.
