The Lamborghini Countach 5000S is a milestone in automotive history. Now this popular car is also available as an RC model from Tamiya on the TT-02 chassis! The prototype of the Lamborghini Countach was unveiled in 1971 and caused quite a stir with its futuristic shape and innovative design. In 1974, the Countach LP400 made its debut as the first production model. By 1982, it had evolved into the 5000S, which was fitted with a 5-litre engine. Around 320 units of the 5000S were produced by 1985. The Countach is not only a supercar but remains a symbol of the Lamborghini brand to this day. The 47527 TAMIYA model, built to a scale of 1:10, is based on the tried-and-tested TT-02 chassis. The wheelbase, ground clearance, track width and gear ratio are all highly adjustable, and with the countless optional tuning parts available, the chassis can be quickly tuned into a racer. The 4WD drivetrain with a central shaft, double wishbones and struts on all four wheels ensures true-to-life handling and optimum traction. The underside of the chassis is designed to be extra smooth, and the battery compartment accommodates all standard battery types. A visual highlight is the wheel hubs, which feature attached dummy brake discs.
